Zouk Nightclub to Bring First Emo Nite Residence to Las Vegas – EDM.com
It’s time to consider dusting off your old wallets and necklaces.
This fall, emo music is at its peak in the famous clubbing destination of Las Vegas Zouk Nightclub. As part of a new residency, Emo Nite will take fans on a sonic journey of the genre’s timeless hits, old and new.
Emo Nite, the brainchild of collaborative duo Morgan Freed and TJ Petracca, first premiered in 2014 and has since become a national phenomenon, landing in many major cities. The party’s recurring fandom exploded while attracting the attention of punk superstars, like Blink-182’s Mark Hoppus and Skrillex’s former band, From First To Last.

With the emphatic endorsement and participation of the genre’s most influential players, Emo Nite has beaten all odds when it comes to the average length of a themed club night. The brand’s excursion into Zouk shows no signs of slowing down.
“A bigger promoter told us that the lifespan of a club night in LA is two years,” Freed said in a press release shared with EDM.com. “One hundred percent it’s the people who go there. This music makes people feel connected. The energy of this one is so special. You bring together a group of people who look different, but have something in common. We started to see groups of friends forming very, very quickly. People met their loved ones at these events. The community really trusts each other.”
Emo Nite is coming to Zouk Nightclub on October 21 and 22, in addition to November 23, with more dates to be announced soon.
