SARATOGA SPRINGS — Vapor, the elegant nightclub and live music venue at the Saratoga Casino Hotel, closed since March last year, will reopen Sept. 30 after renovations, the hotel said.

With an updated look and a new dance floor, Vapor hosts live music every weekend from local talent, touring cover bands and national artists, including two that were carried over from early 2020. Girls, a tribute to Madonna, Cher, Lady Gaga and Adele, will perform on October 8 and illusionist Michael Grandinetti is scheduled for November 19. Tickets for the original dates of these shows will be honored, Vapor management said in the reopening announcement. There are no entrance fees for local groups. Tickets for other shows are available at Vapor’s website.

“We can’t wait to get the party started again,” Kathleen Anderson, senior director of entertainment and guest services at the Saratoga Casino Hotel, said in a statement. “Our dance floor has been empty for far too long, and we look forward to an action-packed rest of 2021. Our three-day opening event will be one you won’t want to miss.” Details of the weekend reopening were not available on Friday.

The Vapor will be open from 8 p.m. until late Friday and Saturday. General admission is free. Table reservations are available for $20 per person, with $15 applied to an individual’s tab; a VIP lounge can be reserved for groups of 10 or more for $25 per person, $15 going to the tab.

The Saratoga Casino Hotel is located at 342 Jefferson St., near Crescent Avenue.
