Stardust Events Returns to Host New EDM Party at Seattle’s Sarajevo Nightclub

Stardust Events has been a staple of the Seattle music industry since 2010, having hosted shows such as Nightglo II with Rusko, White Wonderland in 2017 and Andrew Rayel at Aston Manor following his incredible set the same year at the Ultra Music Festival.

Stardust sold out several shows at the Meydenbauer Event Center, but had quietly taken a pandemic sabbatical from the music industry in preparation for his next venture.

The good news is that Stardust has teamed up with Sarajevo Nightclub – recently moved to the Foundation’s former space on Western Avenue – on a new dance music weekly. Jimmy Geagea, the owner of Stardust Events, hopes this will serve as a long-awaited comeback in the music community.

“Since its inception, Stardust Events was music-focused and provided good experiences and a safe environment for attendees. We peaked at the Meydenbauer Center in Bellevue with non-stop sold-out shows, and we’ve transformed a venue that’s never hosted an EDM event, into one that Seattle ravers cherish and have created many memories,” Geagea told Dance Music Northwest. “Then COVID happened.”

We’ve all felt the vast expanses of COVID and the many questions about what the music industry will be like in the future. A blessing is that many companies like Stardust Events have had the opportunity to start fresh, branching out into new venues with different artists. Where opportunities may not have existed before, now they are in abundance.

Every Thursday, Stardust Events will take over Sarajevo nightclub with Electronic Thursdays, an evening entirely dedicated to EDM. Stardust Events plans to bring all sorts of genres to the site, from “trance, to house, to hardstyle, to bass.” Seeking a wider clubbing crowd, Stardust Events chose a wider range of genres to break the monotony.

The launch of Electronic Thursdays will take place on December 2 in Sarajevo, with DJ Accia, Johnny Monsoon and Moobek. You can buy tickets here. They will follow with Coone on December 9 and Andrew Rayel on February 24.

Keep an eye on Stardust Social Media Events as they are set to announce the headliner for this first event on Monday, October 25.

As for the new Sarajevo nightclub itself, much of it has remained the same since the time of the Foundation. The familiar pillars remain in the center of the floor, and the backlit wall along the VIP cabin still shines.

For the upgrades, additional video panels were added to the ceiling and new convertible seats in front of the stage were added. Sarajevo hopes to breathe new life into the Belltown space with a wider range of events and uses.

As for Geagea, he can’t wait to see what the future holds for Stardust Events: “We’re back, be ready for some good times!
