The movers behind downtown Orlando nightclubs like Celine will soon be opening a new Mexican restaurant in Winter Park.

As reported by Orlando Business JournalPark Avenue Concepts LLC have leased nearly 3,000 square feet of space to 331 S. Park Ave. According to the group of owners, the new space will be a “high-energy” Mexican restaurant called Oro.

The final occupant of the newly rented space was Mon Petit Cheri Cafe, which you may remember bringing you Orlando’s “signature dish” – “honey nougat” – in 2017.

This follows the recent announcement that the former Cornell Museum on the Rollins College campus will also move to this area. The homeowners group has been busy as they also announced plans for Finnhenry’s former home earlier this week.

Correction: This story originally stated that the new business on Park Avenue would be a nightclub. We regret the error.
