CCTV footage inside Pulse nightclub shows shows systematic massacre of Omar Mateen
CCTV footage showing Omar Mateen stalking and killing clubbers at Pulse nightclub was recovered by police.
The images will be key evidence in the investigation of what exactly happened on Sunday night, when a celebration turned into the worst mass shooting in modern history in the United States.
Minute by minute, he shows Mateen making his way through the nightclub, eliminating the victims.
Officials described it as a minute-by-minute replay that shows how cold-blooded the massacre was, the Orlando Sentinel reports.
They haven’t released the video.

Halfway through the attack, 29-year-old U.S.-born Mateen reportedly searched Facebook to see if his attack made headlines.

He had at least five Facebook accounts, it is believed, one of which included the message: “True Muslims will never accept the dirty ways of the West.”
Armed with an assault rifle and semi-automatic handgun, he was killed three hours after opening fire for the first time when a SWAT team stormed the nightclub.
He himself called 911 during the massacre to pledge allegiance to the leader of the Islamic State.
Reports suggest he had previously visited the nightclub himself and signed up on gay dating sites.
Part of her homophobic outburst was filmed by clubber Amanda Alvear who posted a video of her evening on Snapchat moments before Mateen’s arrival.
She has since been confirmed as one of the victims.
